Mr. Jasper Ugochukwu Anunike has been appointed the substantive bursar of Federal Polytechnic Oko, by the 12th Governing Council of the Polytechnic, led by Engr.Dr. Senator Barnabas Gemade.

The appointment is sequel to a transparent and credible interview process conducted in line with the polytechnic act and the modalities outlined by the Federal Ministry of Education and National Board for Technical Education.

The letter of appointment was presented to Mr.Anunike by the Council Chairman,Engr Dr.Gemade during council meeting on 12th February, 2026.

Mr Anunike sequel to his new appointment, was a Chief Accountant, in charge of Disbursement Unit in the Bursary Division of the Polytechnic where he played a central role in managing the institution’s financial operations in compliance with Financial Regulations, International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), Treasury Single Account (TSA) requirements, IPPIS guidelines, and TETFund regulations

He is a seasoned financial administrator and accomplished public sector accountant with over two decades of progressive experience in financial management, budgeting, revenue administration, audit compliance, and public financial reporting.

Mr. Anunike holds a Master of Science ( M.Sc) in Accountancy. He is a member of the following professional bodies, Institute of cost and Management Accountants and Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to transparency and accountability in public financial management.

It is expected that Mr.Anunike’s wealth of experience, professionalism and commitment to prudent financial management will further strengthen the institution’s fiscal discipline, accountability framework and strategic financial sustainability.
