The public is hereby notified that Mr. Ekene Olugburu who was formerly a Principal Technical Officer in Federal Polytechnic Oko, is no longer in the employment of the polytechnic. The said Mr. Ekene Olugburu was dismissed from service by the Governing Council of the polytechnic effective October 28, 2025.

The dismissal became necessary due to a case of conspiracy,sabotage, stealing and illegal sale of Polytechnic tractor bucket,it’s accessories and ceiling fans which was established against Mr. Ekene Olugburu; following a thorough investigation by a properly constituted disciplinary committee in line with the extant rules.

This offence constitute serious acts of misconduct under rule 100402 of the public service rules and the ultimate penalty is dismissal from service as enshrined in rule 100407 of the public service rules.

Consequently, the general public is notified and warned to desist from conducting any business with Mr. Ekene Olugburu on behalf of Federal Polytechnic Oko . Anyone who does so is doing so at their own risk as Federal Polytechnic Oko will not be held liable for any eventuality.
