The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie accompanied by the Management, members of the Governing Council, and Staff of the Polytechnic attended the wedding of Engr. Uche Victor and Chioma Judith Ndife in Awka on Saturday 20th December, 2025.

Engr. Uche Victor Ndife is the son of former Bursar of the Polytechnic, Mr. Bertram Ndife and Dr. Chinelo Ndife who is a Council member as well as the Director, Ufuma Campus of the Polytechnic.

The new couple are both lecturers in Federal Polytechnic Oko making the wedding unique, remarkable and a memorable one.

The wedding which was characterized by fun, joy and celebration was a get-together of sorts for the polytechnic family and a demonstration of the brotherhood and friendship which exist among staff.

The Rector while presenting a gift to the couple in the company of the management and council members described the newly wedded as her children; charging them to love and respect each other and be committed to one another.
