The visionary and purposeful leadership of Dr.Chioma Irene Awuzie, Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko has continued to reposition the institution. The latest is the commencement of work on the hospitality management building which has been distressed for over ten years following the suspension of work on it. This project which is being revitalised through TETFund intervention, is made up of staff offices, two conference halls and state of the art guest rooms.
The building when completed will go a long way in boosting the practical experience of Hospitality Management students, tackle the challenges of office space for staff and also provide accommodation for guests.
This milestone achievement of the Rector is a testament of leadership that is focused on deepening infrastructural development, creating an enabling environment that stimulates quality teaching and learning as well as raising the bar for quality and standard education in Federal Polytechnic Oko.
This is a desirable trajectory that resonates with the Polytechnic Community.
