Ukpor staff indigenes have paid a courtesy visit on the Rector to congratulate her on her appointment as the substantive Rector. They also poured encomium on the Rector for her performance in office.

They stated that the Rector within just few months in office had made very tangible achievements and prayed for God’s guidance and protection for her to continue her good works in the polytechnic.

The Rector, Dr.Chioma Irene Awuzie in her remarks welcomed the Ukpor staff indigenes and thanked them for their solidarity. She reiterated that her administration will be fair to all staff and will uphold equity and justice. The Rector encouraged any staff with genuine case of maltreatment in the past to bring up their case as it will be judiciously looked into for remedy.

She stated that everyone will be accommodated and called on all staff to put in their best and to support her administration in other to move the Polytechnic to greater heights .
