The Imo State Staff Association, Federal Polytechnic Oko has described the Rector, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie as a unifier, a bridge builder and friend of Imo Indigenes in the Polytechnic.
Chairman of the association, Dr. Ben Obioha stated during a courtesy visit of the association to the Rector, that Rector’s philanthropy and goodwill has no boundaries as it benefits all and sundary in the Polytechnic.
According to him, “Rector is a big friend of Ndi Imo. We are grateful that she facilitated the appointment of our brother, Mr. Dominic Nwagwu into the position of the Acting Registrar.

“We are not unmindful of her unique attributes. She assumed office as the Substantive Rector of the Polytechnic and retained 95 per cent of the appointees of her predecessors.
“Rector ma, your achievements in 100 days is quite amazing. We are here to encourage you to continue without looking back. Imo staff association are solidly behind you and many people are behind you because you are transforming the Polytechnic.
