RECTOR, DR. CHIOMA AWUZIE, UNDERTAKES INSPIRING INSPECTION OF STORES UNIT OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, OKO

In line with her proactive and hands-on leadership style, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, on Tuesday morning embarked on an inspection tour of the institution’s Stores Unit. The visit underscored her commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the management of institutional resources.

On hand to receive the Rector and her entourage was the Head of the Stores Unit, Mr. Wilfred Agbo, who conducted them round the facility. Dr. Awuzie carefully inspected available stocks, assessed the level of supplies, and identified areas that require replenishment to further strengthen the unit’s operations.

Addressing the staff, the Rector commended their conscientiousness and urged them to maintain greater dedication to duty, stressing that every unit of the institution must function at its peak for the polytechnic to achieve holistic growth.

In his remarks, Mr. Agbo praised Dr. Awuzie for her foresight and proactive leadership, particularly her prompt provision of essential items. He singled out the timely supply of large quantity of multi-purpose paper, which has greatly facilitated the production of examination scripts and other critical office documents.

The inspection visit further reflects Dr. Awuzie’s transformational leadership drive, marked by attention to detail, practical supervision, and a passion for excellence. Her administration continues to redefine standards and inspire confidence across all units of the polytechnic.
