The knowledge of the Management of Federal Polytechnic Oko has been drawn to the news making rounds that the Polytechnic is currently recruiting staff. In view of the overwhelming phone calls and incessant enquiries from the public regarding this news, it has become incumbent to clear the air and set the records straight.

The Management hereby state as follows:

1) There are official processes and approvals required from various government agencies before commencement of any recruitment exercise; the Management of Federal Polytechnic Oko therefore, cannot go contrary to the extant rules.

2)There is no ongoing recruitment exercise at Federal Polytechnic Oko.

3) No advert has been made in respect of staff recruitment at the Polytechnic.

4)The general public is advised to be wary of those that may want to financially exploit them under the guise of facilitating employment for them.

Following the aforestated, Management enjoins the public to disregard the rumour in it’s entirety and go about their normal business. Do not fall prey to fraudsters and racketeers.
