The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has approved the re-accreditation of the under listed programmes offered in Federal Polytechnic Oko for a period of five years with effect from 2025/2026 session.

HND Hospitality Management and Technology

ND Horticultural Technology

HND Mechanical Engineering Technology (Manufacturing option)

ND Marketing

HND Surveying and Geo-Informatics

ND Agricultural Technology

In addition, approval was granted to the Polytechnic to commence the following new programmes with effect from 2025/2026 session:

HND Science Laboratory Technology (Biochemistry/Microbiology)

HND Science Laboratory Technology (Biochemistry)

ND Geological Technology

This re-accreditation of programmes and approval for commencement of new programmes followed the accreditation visitation and resource inspection by NBTE officials to the Polytechnic in April 2025. The successful outcome of the exercise was communicated to the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie in a letter signed by Dr. Mrs. Fatima Kabir Umar, Director, Polytechnic Programme Department of NBTE.
