RECTOR, DR.AWUZIE RESUSCITATES FEDERAL POLY OKO 98.7 MOMENT FM, IGNITES NEW ERA IN STUDENT BROADCASTING

In a remarkable stride toward revitalizing communication and student engagement, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, has successfully resuscitated 98.7 Moment FM, the institution’s official radio station.

The revival follows the timely renewal of the station’s operating license and a comprehensive upgrade of its broadcasting equipment, bringing it in line with contemporary standards. The initiative, driven by the Rector’s forward-thinking leadership, restores the station as a dynamic platform for information dissemination, academic enrichment, and entertainment.

Moment FM now stands as a reinvigorated voice for the polytechnic community, especially for the students of the Mass Communication Department, offering practical training and a platform for creative expression.

This development not only enhances campus life but also reconnects the institution with its broader audience, reflecting Dr. Awuzie’s commitment to innovation, student empowerment, and institutional excellence.
