The exhibition of products at Federal Polytechnic Oko has clearly showcased the Institution as home for technology. The exhibition which is one of the activities marking the 100 days in office of the Rector, Dr.Chioma Irene Awuzie was characterized by ingenuity and Innovation.

The Rector who led Governing Council members, Management team and invited guests to inspect products that were on display was clearly impressed and elated by the array of products that were displayed.
Some of these products were bought by the Rector and distributed to Council members, Management Staff, retirees among others.

She charged the department of physics to harness their technology to develope electronic staff attendance register. She also acceded to the request of biology department for a zoological farm and subsequently directed the Director Physical Planning to provide a land for that purpose.

While inspecting products displayed by the Polytechnic printing press, the Rector revealed that the printing press will henceforth be tasked with the production of examination answer scripts.
To cap it up, the Rector awarded scholarship to two ND I students of Department of Fine and Applied Arts who presented her with portraits they made of her.

Departments that participated in the exhibition include , Physics, biology ,Chemistry, Electrical/Electronics Engineering , Computer Science, Food Technology, and Entrepreneurship .
Others were Computer Engineering, Home and Rural Economics, Architecture, Hospitality Management and Technology ,Building Technology, Fine and Applied Arts as well as Polytechnic ventures.
