The Deputy Rector Academic Designate, Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr.Nkiruka Maria – Assumpta Akabuike has received her letter of appointment from the Chairman, Governing Council of the Polytechnic; Senator Dr. Barnabas Gemade OFR.

The Rector, Dr.Chioma Irene Awuzie presented the letter on behalf of the Governing Council Chairman. Recall that Dr.Akabuike was elected for the office of Deputy Rector Academic by the Academic Board during their regular meeting on 2nd April 2025. She will take over from Dr.Uche Onyegbu who retires from service in May 2025.
