Loretto Special Science School, Adazi Nnukwu Old Girls Association, Anambra State, LSSAOGA has congratulated one of the Loretto Queens, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie on her well deserved appointment as the substantive Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko. The Loretto Old Girls who paid a courtesy visit to the Rector, expressed confidence on her ability to deliver even as they called on the entire Polytechnic community to rally round her to succeed.

The National Vice president of the association, Dr. Adaobi  Okeke who led Anambra chapter executive and members on the courtesy visit described Dr. Chioma’s appointment as a testament to her unwavering dedication, academic excellence, and outstanding contributions to the field of science and technology.

Dr. Okeke who is also the Anambra state chapter chairman of the association revealed that Dr. Chioma who  is the chairman, Board of Trustee of LSSAOGA has nurtured the group to maturity adding that her unrelenting commitment to scholarship, research and development, as well as the desire to promote the welfare of others distinguishes her among her contemporaries.

“Dr. Chioma is one of the founding members of LSSAOGA and we were all together in December last year, praying together for what we are celebrating today as prayer answered.”So, we are here to thank God for elevating a Loretto Queen to this enviable position and to congratulate her on the appointment.

” As a group, we shall be solidly behind her. Anytime she calls on us, we shall answer especially now that we have adopted her as a full member of Anambra state chapter” she said.

Responding, the Rector, Dr. Chioma Awuzie who was visibly happy, appreciated the Old Girls Association of her Alma matter for their visit and prayers urging them to continue to pray for God’s wisdom to enable her pilot the affairs of the institution over the next five years.
