The 12th Governing Council of our Polytechnic has paid courtesy visit to the traditional rulers of Oko community, Igwe Prof. Laz Ekwueme and that of  Ufuma Community, Igwe Chika Uchime.  The Council chairman Engr, Senator Barnabas Gemade OFR in his remarks appreciated the traditional rulers for maintaining peace between their  communities and Federal Polytechnic Oko.

He pledged his commitment to work together with the traditional rulers to ensure that the existing peace between the Polytechnic and the host communities is sustained.

The traditional rulers congratulated the council on their inauguration and also appreciated them for their visit. They further highlighted on areas of challenge which they requested the council to address.

They reiterated their support for the council and pledged to work with them for the interest of all.
