Following a successful completion of her tenure, the first female Rector of the polytechnic Engr.Dr.Francisca Nwafulugo has held a valedictory thanksgiving service at Chapel of the light Federal Polytechnic Oko formally signaling the end of her tenure as Rector. The thanksgiving service was attended by all the principal officers of the Polytechnic in addition to staff and students.  In attendance also were former Rectors of the Polytechnic, Commissioner of Education Anambra State who was represented, traditional rulers of Atani and Nawfija, President General OKo Peoples Union among others.
